I would test it again but I couldn't find some of my more important items for some reason so I reverted to a back up save I had made a couple days before (hadn't been doing anything that was risky enough to bother making one) so I lost tons of progress.
Why is Starbound multiplayer so laggy When your Starbound connection is laggy, it’s usually due to a poor connection between 2 or more points. This time I left it alone and noticed other types of birds were spawning as well and some of them were hostile as soon as they came close to me.Īnyways the purpose of this story is to show you can encounter other enemies on moons well at least above them would like some other people to try this and see if they get the same results or if it was a one off thing for me. go to your OS folder (win64 for me I think. So I built a second tower so I could get my items to fall to the ground so I could retrieve them all when again I encountered the large bird. It looked similar to the randomized bird enemies you find on planets only it was much much larger bigger then even the Erchius Ghost well long story short without thinking I shot at it mind you with a high tier weapon didn't even cause its health bar to budge it then procided to turn around and killed me with a ranged attack with a single shot the attack moved so quick I didn't even have a chance to dodge so I died and when I respawned I noticed my items werent near the tower which is normal the items will usually stay around the elevation you died when you make large towers into space. The tower was 2 wide and I had used about 600 blocks so I was 300 blocks above the ground level when I encountered a very very large bird like thing. so I went back down to the moon and decided to perform an experiment I built a thin tower just to see what you would find far above the moon as I have already done the same on planets. I noticed I had tons and tons of moondust, moonrock ect. The advantage to upgrading your ship with fake licenses would be that you don't have to run around completing small quests for NPCs, although I've personally found this much easier than collecting 280,000 pixels.Today I was minning on a moon and was throwing all the fuel in a box near my teleport spot and going back for more after I had about 10k worth I took it and put it in a box in my ship so I wouldn't have to worry about refueling for a while.
Also, if you buy the first few fake licenses then decide to go the normal route, you'll still have to get up to the number of crew members you'd need normally to unlock the next tier, so your previous licenses have gone to waste.

You'll need a total of 280,000 pixels to fully upgrade your ship. The main disadvantage to upgrading your ship with fake licenses is its cost. You will not be locked out of side-quests, and can still gain crew members if you want to.

Once upgraded, there is no difference between a ship that was upgraded with a fake license and a ship that was upgraded with a real license.
Upgrading your ship normally involves getting crew members from NPC settlements (a total of 2, 4, 6, 8, then 10) by completing small randomly generated quests for them, or by hiring penguin mercenaries after defeating Dreadwing.
